Today we enjoyed a wonderful day at a nearby park. There was this cool place where a bunch of birds flew down and we could feed them. Ty enjoyed it but got a little scared when the birds got too close! We also enjoyed a delicious meal at KFC!! Last night, we had Pizza Hut (but I must admit, I'm really missing Taco Bell!). Tomorrow we will get Ty's passport and on Saturday we will fly to Guanzhou. We are SO excited to meet up with the other families. We have one family here with us who adopted a precious 3 year old deaf boy. He is really cute and doing well with his new family!
We are staying at the Crown Plaza in Jinan, a really nice hotel. The traffic outside is mind-blowing!! Just crossing the street has been a challenge. Lots of people on bikes, mopeds and cars who ALL have the right of way!! It's busy, busy, busy outside. Lots of people, lots of stores, lots of chaos.
Ty continues to bond with us and honestly, he is the sweetest little boy ever. Sometimes he will touch his throat a little and we wonder if his esophagus is bothering him. He drinks formula and we can give him soup and yogurt, but that's about it. We can't wait to get him home! Each day he is a little more comfortable and today, he let Nana Cole feed him yogurt at the breakfast table! He adores Frank and calls out "Papa!" when he comes into the room, making us all crack up! OK. Gotta go. More tomorrow. WE MISS EVERYONE!!!

The photos are sooo good! I'm super excited to hear that Ty is feeling more comfortable with his new family everyday! What a wild ride, huh? How ready will you be to get on that airplane and head back to Sherman? I know I sound like a broken record, but I pray for you guys all the time! Take care of yourselves!
