Hello Again Friends & Family!
I'm very sorry for the delay. The hotel we were at did not have internet access so I was unable to post. We took a four hour bus trip to Ty's hometown, Quindao (pronounced "Shindow"). It was great to see this town, near the ocean. We had various appointments that kept us really busy; passports, notary, etc. Anyway, we are now n Jinan again and we will be here until Saturday. Then, we will travel to Guanzhou and meet up with all the families and their new children. This will be an exciting time!
Ty is coming out of his shell a little more everyday. He has such a great little personality and sweetness about him. Every time we give him a cheerio he says "Shay Shay" which means thank you in Chinese. It's the cutest thing! He babbles in Chinese a lot, which we love.
We are enjoying China and let me say, I have never seen so many bicycles in my life! Someone told us there are over 8 million bikes in Beijing alone! Hannah loves being a big sister. What a huge help to have her and my mom here with us.
Today the orphanage director gave me some pictures of Ty when he was a baby. There's one picture of him when he was first found (after being abandoned in the basement of a hospital) and he looked very malnourished. Looking at the photo made me cry. I was thankful for the pictures she brought me. I will post more tomorrow. Thanks again for all your prayers, it has really helped!

Sooooo good to read your blog! Wow. I can't imagine all the emotions you have experienced in the past week. You must have been going crazy without internet access knowing everyone who is reading your precious Blog was going crazy! Like a chocolate addict needing a fix. LOL. Praying for you guys as you experience SO MANY new things. Love you!

I am thrilled you received the baby pictures for you guys and for Ty later. I can't wait to see the pictures (take lots of them)from the celebration party with all the families. How cool will that be!!!

You guys all look great! I actually think that Ty looks like Frank. Several people I have said
that to do as well. How cool and planned by God is that! We loved all of the pictures today. They are all so, so sweet. Ty sleeps exactly like Sadie used to! Our favorite ones from today were the ones of Hannah and Ty. They look like they just go together. How lucky they are to have each other forever! We cannot wait to see and hear more each day! Here I am again ... crying at my desk in the middle of the afternoon while looking at your blog pics. What a precious, sweet boy. I can't wait to meet him. Hannah, I know you're going to be the best big sister ever! What a lucky girl you are. I'm so very proud of you for welcoming Ty into your family and for helping your mom and dad take care of him.
