This morning I awoke to Mother's Day cards from Frank, Hannah and yes, Ty! We had a wonderful breakfast buffet and then headed to a nearby museum. The weather has been absolutely wonderful. Not too hot at all today with a slight breeze. We then went to the grocery store as a group ... it was kinda like a big mall, actually. Then we topped off the afternoon with a "paperwork party". This took two hours. One parent from each family came and we all filled out forms together to give the Consulate. This was pretty painless, but I'm glad it's over with. We then enjoyed a delicious Mother's Day Dinner at McDonalds! Ty and I had some good bonding moments tonight. He took a bath again with Papa and hated every minute of it! Hopefully, someday he will love the bath.
We have some wonderful families with us. One family is from San Ramon, CA which is near my hometown. They have adopted two teenagers who are sisters. What a wonderful thing, these girls are so glad to be coming to America! Also, there is a couple from San Diego, CA who got twins. They are very cute! It's so great to see all the families with their new babies and toddlers and even teens. Everyone is so very happy!! I hope you all had a very happy Mother's Day. I know I sure did and so did Nana Cole! There's nothing better than being in China with Hannah and our new son on this very special day. Miss you all!

Happy Mother's Day Pam and Nana Cole! I know this has been such a special one for you. Love, Mia
Hi to all 5 of you on this special Mother's Day! I know you all have had such a special one there in China with Ty and Hannah! I have left a message for Mrs. Wade today but I will follow up on the art thing tomorrow and get back to you. Mother's Day here was special too. Lots of new Disney Snowglobes! You know what we Disney fans say..."you can never have too much Disney!" That is so true. We wish you each love, peace, and safety for the rest of your journey through China. We can't wait to see you all. The bonding is coming, hang in there. Each moment is so special and one of these days you will look back and this time will seem like a flash because you will have been so sweetly bonded for so long by then. Be patient and know that God has done all of this, he knows your heart and will provide once again. We love you!
Love, Suzanne

Congratulations on your son. My name is Brian and my wife Christe and I are a past and current AWAA family. You mentioned two teenage girls being adopted by a family on your trip. Ithink we know these girls from a trip to CHina for a camp last summer with AWAA and the CCAA. Would you mind telling the family that adopted themt o contact us. We have lots of pipstures and video of at least one of their daughters from last july that we would love to bless them with.

Happy Mother's Day, Pam! It's wonderful isn't it. My little man gives me great joy! Who knows maybe we'll do it again in the future after we get through the surgeries, etc.
Glad you are alright. God bless.

OK, he's got your chin. He's got your cheeks. Honestly, he's got your hair!
