Reflection...

This past weekend marked two months since we first laid eyes on Ty Le Sanza. As I think back through the last two years of waiting for him, it is overwhelming to think that this little boy is finally ours. I keep thinking he is too good to be true. He is everything we hoped he would be and more. What a joy he is and he is constantly making us laugh. His sweet disposition was a nice surprise. His affectionate ways are a blessing and he is constantly hugging our neck, sometimes so tight we pretend we are choking. The gentle way he says "mama" sometimes and when I look at him he just looks back down...as if he wants to know that I am just there. The way he loves his papa and greets him when he comes home and says "how are you?" is so cute. And of course the way he loves his big sister and gets excited and goes and tells her we are going "bye bye car" and takes her hand. As I write this, I am watching him tell his huge white teddy bear, "love you" while he is sitting on it. (it is bigger than he is).
Of course he has a slight stubborn streak. We had a little lesson yesterday with a "battle of the wills". We are teaching him that it is not his way all the time.
I tell people that since we got Ty, Hannah has grown up so much. We knew she would be a great big sister. She constantly wants to take care of him, and initiates so much with me, like wanted to buckle him in his seatbelt and constantly asking me if she can help me with him. Except she hasnt quite asked me if she could change his diaper yet!!
We look to God and constantly shake our heads in amazement of what he has given us, and what he continues to give us.  What was such an agonizing long wait, and long journey, the enjoyment of Ty Le is here and was well worth it.

Pammie - thanks so much for sharing your heart with all the Sanza fans who faithfully read your blog! I *so* appreciate you taking the time to post photos and journal about what goes on in your world. For your family & friends in Cali (like me) it means so very much. So again, THANK YOU!
