My New Son of 5 Months...

I stood back and watched my new son today, as he experienced a windmill shadow for the first time. I watched as he would watch the shadow, then look up at the windmill as it spun around, then look back down on the ground again, as in disbelief, but yet so curious. It really fills my heart when I can witness him seeing something for the very first time. I was reminded again how blessed I am to have gone through this adoption, and what the reward was for the very long wait.  I learned from others that were going through adoption that once Ty became ours, the pain of the wait of the adoption would fade away....The reward was this sweet little boy that loves his new family so much, and tells us everyday. The reward is being a witness to everything he experiences now. The reward is the privledge to be his new parents and his new family. Papa, Mama, Hannah (sometimes pronounced Nana) and Ty.  The four Sanzas complete!
