A Stormy night in Sherman

Last night we had another storm in Sherman. This one was the biggest one yet to me. It scared me to death, to be exact. It started out as a tornado warning about an hour a way so I didn't think we would be affected. Boy was I wrong! 20 minutes later our house was hit with hail the size of golf balls and beating down on our roof. It was incredibly loud, and what didnt help me was the town sirens going off at the same time. The news was telling people to go in their bathtub etc. Pretty scary for this California girl! Hannah and Ty slept through the whole thing, thank goodness. How they could sleep through all that noise is beyond me. Is there any way I can dig a cellar or shelter in the ground? Maybe that can be my summer project.
Gotta love the Texas weather!

Have I mentioned lately how much I appreciate and enjoy the Sanza family blog? I love the photos and great stories!! Thanks so much for making the time to post.

About the hail? Wowza Wow Wee! I can't even imagine what that must've been like! I'm thinkin' ... you can take the girl out of California but you can't take California out of the girl. LOL.
