Happy Mother's Day!

I love being a Mom! It definitely changes you. You no longer look out for yourself. You want to trade places with them when they are hurt or sick or heartbroken. You want to protect them from anything that is not good. You are now an example to someone else. Therefore, you think twice with how you act and what you say. You only want the best for them. Being a mother makes you want to be a better person. I think of how blessed I am to have two wonderful kids. I have a sweet 11 year old who is sensitive to others, and loves our Lord more than anything. I also have a wonderful little boy who is now 6 years old. The Lord gave him to us. Adopting him has been the best experience ever. Many times Frank and I look at each other and shake our heads, knowing what the other is thinking. How did we get so fortunate? They are indeed a blessing. Happy Mother's Day!
